The Home Study began as a set of hand-made booklets for one family's own children — a month of geology, then a month of rivers, then a month of the country they live in. They're still made the same way: slowly, one painted page at a time, for families who'd rather hand a child a book than a screen.

Questions we're asked
How do I get the files?
The moment your payment goes through you get a download link on the confirmation page and a second one by email. Each volume is a single PDF. There is nothing to wait for and nothing to ship.
What do I need to print it?
Any home printer and plain paper. Every volume is laid out at 300 dpi on US Letter, and prints on A4 if you choose “fit to printable area”. Colour is lovely but not required — nothing in the book depends on telling one colour from another, so grayscale works too.
What ages is it for?
Five to twelve, multi‑age by design. Each page carries three levels: what the youngest listens to, what the middle child reads aloud, and what the oldest writes down. One volume covers the whole table.
Can I use one volume for all my children?
Yes. Buy it once and print it as many times as you like for the children in your own home or classroom, this year and every year after. Please don’t resell the file or pass it on to other households.
Do I need to prepare anything?
No. Every volume opens with a parent guide, a printing guide and a progress tracker, and closes with an answer key for every worksheet. Projects use what is already in a kitchen drawer — a jar, a bean, a piece of string.
How often do new volumes come out?
About twice a year. Each one stands on its own, so you can start anywhere; read together they build one shelf.
